Guilted into blogging
Ok, really not so much, but since I'm now following some of my favourite DA mom's blogs I felt I needed update mine.
So, yesterday afternoon I met two different men in a hotel ....
Ok, you can pick your jaw up off the floor now!
I had a job interview with a retailer. One of the hotels in Toronto (The Hyatt on King) rents out some of their floors to offices. The ironic thing was that I stayed at this hotel in March with Russ when we went to the Symphony (holy crap that was only two posts ago). I met with the HR manager and the person to whom I'd be reporting.
::shrugs:: I've done this a lot of times (interviewing not meeting men in hotels) so I don't tend to get wound up until there's an offer (and a GREAT one) in front of me.
The commute would SUCK, but I'm eager to get back into retail, so I'm game. Of course, I always (stupidly) somehow mention I have children, so I'll likely pay the "mommy penalty".
